Joseph Walter "Joe" Wilburn

Oh how I miss my friend Joe. For almost twenty years we flew together all over the Southeast. Referring to my Log Book last weekend, we flew our airplanes almost 10,000 miles in “Loose Formation”. We made almost annual trips to Florida’s Sun ‘N Fun fly in each spring, traveled to about every other aviation activity and airport restaurant around the tri-state area, Joe in his Cessna 170 and me in my “Rag Bag” Piper Tri-Pacer as he called it.
