I am so very sorry for the loss of Joe. I had the pleasure of having Joe as a student last semester, as well as having him join the on-campus NAMI cub I advise. He was kind and caring to everyone. In the on-campus NAMI club, Joe would encourage others and offered real friendship and support to those students that needed it the most. He helped spread kindness around campus and really believed in the mission of NAMI and reducing the stigma. Personally, he positively impacted me as an educator....
