My first reaction was "Jesus Christ Joe why did you have to die". I last saw Joe in Oct. outside St. Margaret's Hospital waiting for a doctor's appointment. I have know Joe approximately 40 years as a policeman, as a pile driver, as a very good friend. The day at the hospital I did not recognize Joe, but he hollered out "Hey Vitamin", I turned and immediately knew it was Joe. We talked for a while, a little bit about old times and how sick he was. I will remember Joe for a long time. ...
