Just saw this. Joe was a mentor, friend, partner in curmudgeonly activities, and genuinely one of the most unselfish and kind hearted person I ever knew.

So sorry to read of Joe´s passing. He was a very special person in so many ways. He will be missed.

Dear Angie, So sad to hear this news today. Joe was so much a part of my Food Mart life from when I was 18 years old and for many years afterward. He, Kenny, and I negotiating labor contracts with Local 371 and then celebrating together when it was over. I learned so much from Joe throughout my career.
