Not sure what to say?

Still miss your kindness, sense of humor, and grasp of the art of medicine.

I knew Joe when we were in the U.S. Navy in Morocco in 1971-1972, and visited him soon after he moved to Philadelphia. I regret having lost contact with him after that, as we both became absorbed in our here-and-now worlds. I was hoping that we could get together again and get caught up with each other's life. I appreciated him for his caring qualities and his sometimes outrageous sense of humor. He was wonderful company.

To Joe's Family: I will always remember his kind and caring ways, his calm and funny demeanor and incredible medical skills. We worked together at Jefferson in Trauma, and we shared many parenting stories together, since I gave birth to my son, raising him as a single parent very close to the time the boys became your family. I loved him and I am so sorry about Matt-I just learned today of the tragedies, and I am heartbroken. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

In memory of a man whose life's light will shine ETERNALLY on ALL mankind!!

Dr. Zeccardi was a mentor & friend. I met him at TJUH & our relationship became stronger when he became my Medical Director in the Phila. FD! When he mentioned his family, it was obvious he had been blessed to find the TRUE LOVE we all strive for! I offer my DEEPEST SYMPATHY to all who knew & LOVED him! I hope you can find solace in knowing that through the knowledge he passed on to SO MANY, his legacy will know no end. His IS a life to be TRULY CELEBRATED!! Rest In Eternal Peace, my mentor,...

A wonderful person and a caring, dedicated physician. A mentor when I was at Jefferson. May God bless you with comfort during this very difficult time.

HE WAS A SUCCESS IN HIS CAREER AND HIS LIFE. GOODBYE CUZ.

Joe was my uncle. I loved him a lot, though I didn't get to see him much. I will deeply miss him and his son, Matthew, who was one of my favorite cousins.

Joe was a leader in medicine who inspired hundreds of medical students and physicians. May his memory be a blessing for those whose lives he touched. Condolences to those closest to him, and all who knew him well.
