Not sure what to say?

I know this is a long time in coming, but having lost my husband 2 years ago, I know how deep the grief is. I knew Joe from LIJ when he first came here from Massachusetts. His brilliant knowledge of all things always fascinated me. His love for his family was also well known. I worked with many doctors during my career in Radiology but none were as caring to patients as he was. We were lucky to have him. Rest easy Joe and know that the world is a sadder place without you.

To the family of Dr.Zito, I am deeply saddened and sorry to the loss of your father, grandfather and to the wife of Dr.Zito your husband. Dr.Zito is THE best I went to his practice for an MRI and Dr.Zito told me I am fine he was the nicest person I've ever met.

My deepest condolences to the Zito family. I had the honor and priviledge of working with Dr. Z at NRAD. He was a brilliant clinician as well as a caring and wonderful man. He always made you feel important and special. He will be greatly missed.

Joe epitomized "class", professionalism and inherent trust to his patients, their families, and, above all, his peers! I speak as former clinician, and, as a father who had a "scare" years ago with my son, who, was required to have brain scan to rule out possible tumor. I immediately called "NRAD", and spoke to Joe. Scan was normal, however, his demeanor, calmness, and compassion eased my concerns, however, my son who was 10 at time was instantly comfortable around "Dr. Z." My son...

My condolences to the entire Zito family. Having worked with Dr. Zito for many years at NRAd, I was privileged to witness a truly remarkable man! His concern for his patients and employees was unsurpassed. I will truly miss his smile and warm personality.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Joe was a wonderful man and left a profound mark on all the lives he touched, both personally and professionally. One of my favorite memories will always be watching the love between he and his brother Bill. They were so very close, spoke daily for at least an hour, and were as fun-loving as they were supportive of one another. True brotherly love....and both with a sense of humor to match. Joe will always be with you Billy, as you both had a...

So sorry for your loss. Working with Joe was a great pleasure for many years. He was that rare thing, both extremely competent and unusually caring for his patients. I really admired him and will mis him. Mark Kashen, M.D., former partner at Nassau Radiology Group.

My deepest sympathy, Collette. Sarah Collins Beeler
