Not sure what to say?

Deepest sympathy from the Westerman family.

From childhood, visiting Jo and Ted's farm with my dad Brian was a favourite activity. I've always carried an image in my head of the perfect home... jo and ted's farmhouse. Beautiful, peaceful, wonderful gardens. Birds singing. A house filled with books and treasures from travels and life. I loved Jo. She also taught me 4th form biology which I've gone on to spend a life time learning. Not so much the plants though! She will be missed.

Mrs Abraham was one of my favourite teachers when I was at school. So lucky to have such a wonderful role model, I believe she was the reason I went on to study Zoology

My friend Jo. I have many memories of your sweet smile and your gentle nature. You and Ted were great friends. Never a bad word about anyone and always there to lend a helping hand. Thanks again for the koha of mutton for our college hangi. Arohanui Henare and Te Manawakore xox

Mrs Abraham was one in a million. Such a sweet lady and a great teacher. Her contribution to Taihape College and all that she taught will be well remembered. Condolences to all the family.

To all her family, Jo taught me Biology at Taihape College in the 1980's. She was one of my favourite teachers who knew her subject so well. One special memory is a Form 7 trip to the Whakapapa side of the mountain which Ted also came on. Jo also used to drive me out to the Kawhatau Valley after school sometimes, so I could stay the night with the Gorringes and go horse riding with Charlotte. I will always remember her beautiful smile and voice, and her tiny cute car that we shared those...

My sincere sympathy on the death of the beautiful Jo Abraham. She was always a delight to meet at the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul. May she rest in peace. God bless, Irene Bignall
