BALDRIDGE, Josephine Mullins, has left this earth to be with her Lord. After a lengthy and productive life of 102 years, her work here is finally done. She was born in the village of Stratton in Dickenson County, on June 6, 1906. The tenth of thirteen children, she has survived even three younger siblings. She is survived by her nephews, John Thomas Mullins of Gainesville, Fla., Dr. Fitzhugh Mullins of Louisville, Ky. and Carroll W. Mullins of Richmond. She amassed many accomplishments during her lifetime. Most notably, she was Past-Worthy Matron of the Naomi Chapter No. 4 O.E.S., Past-President of the Va. Milkgoat Breeders Assoc., and Past-President of the Va. Beekeepers Assoc. She specialized in grafting fruit trees and was an avid gardener who maintained a 1.5 acre garden through the summer of 2006. She loved to give away most of what she raised in the garden. She will be truly missed by family and friends. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008 in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Va. Arrangements by Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond.

You were such a special Grandma to me. My dad met you while serving a mission in Virginia years and years ago, and you have been OUR Grandma ever since! I will always cherish our vacations to come stay with you and my memories of you. I can still picture you in my mind with a smile on your face and always in a dress. You were such a sweet lady and you will be greatly missed - WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA!!!
