I worked with Mrs. Billie at KFC in Galax over 30 years ago when I was a teenager. I learned what work ethic was from her. At the time she was the hardest working manager we had. I was probably the sorriest worker she had. She never gave up on me. I still remember her talking about how she met Colonial Sanders and he presented her a watch for all of her hard work.
