Ms Phini led the troops back home to revitalize the backside of the lower 9th ward, against huge opposition, she was a great leader!
The great Josephine Butler was a brilliant, strong and courageous community leader as well as kind, fun and dear friend. She reminds us that we have a path, that we can make it down that road and do so with grace, humor, love and great spirit. Mrs. Phini is a hero and will be with those who continue to fight for the lower 9th ward, for freedom, justice and the rights of all. Long may she live! xx

Such a blessed Aunt she took care of my great tennis shoe wearing Uncle Cherifield, with stood Katrina & keep on with the fight. She said "it's time for me to rest". So now she rests with the master up above.
