To the Caruso family I am truly sorry to hear of Josephines passing. She was a beautiful woman. I unknowingly met her years ago on Murray Hill. She approached me and asked me if I was Maria's daughter. She had worked with my mother in a sweater factory Joseph & fiess for 25cents an hour. When my mom came over from Sicily. They worked hard. Josephine was 'my' seamstress for many years until she retired. I never left without a cup of coffee and home-baked pastry. I knew of her children and granddaughters. She showed me so many photos. I am late on delivering all my holiday cookie packages this year and was sad to learn I will not be paying a visit to her home this time. She was cute, lively and fun, besides being a very talented, reasonable 'alterations lady.' She will be missed.

Our prayers will be with all of the family. As you know Pat we will be traveling we will be thinking of you.
