Not sure what to say?

I always looked up to my Aunt Jo. She seemed to be such a pillar of strength.
Bonnie Gibson Mattheus

My memories of Mrs. Chilson are warm and tender. When young I would come over to the home Julie and I would play while the adults talked. I always missed our growing up and growing away from each other. (Maree Rankins - Newport News, VA)

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I will miss Mrs Chilson, We had a lot of conversations for years. Mrs. Chilson loved her daughters and grandkids dearly. I worked for Mrs Chilson as her housekeeper. So we shared quite a bit for some yrs. She was a very strong woman. Im sure God embraced her when she left this world. I miss her dearly, but I know where she is now. I can hear her laughing now. Darlene Deloatch(Hampton, Virginia)

I do pray that God will ease any pain, grant peace, and provide the needed strength to make the way through the days ahead for the loving family of Josephine.

I'll miss taking Aunt Jo out to lunch whenever I get to Norfolk. Our deepest sympathies to Anita and Julia. We're still cousins! Love, Fern and George Babcock (Hinsdale, Il)

I always enjoyed it when Mrs. Chilson would join us for Christmas at the farm. She seemed to really enjoy visiting with all of us, catching up with Grandmother, watching the kids open their gifts, and seeing Allen, Julie, and Jessica again. She was nice to talk to. You had her full attention and she made you feel as if you were most important. I have missed seeing her and talking with her and will certainly miss having her join us for Christmas! I'm thankful for the times we were able to...

We miss you, you was always a ray of light, big smile, and so very friendly.
It is our good fortune for getting to know you.

Jo and I had wonderful conversations while doing dishes after family holiday meals at Vera Hynson's home. I washed - she dried. My children, Jennifer and Ned, remember her as the nice lady who always included a few dollars in a little Christmas card for each of the children. I remember her chuckle at the end of a story, and thinking of her makes me smile.
