Mrs. Cotter was so kind to all the neighborhood kids. Memories of her always make me smile. She was an angel on earth.

Words can't express what an amazing person Jo was. I was amazed to see all of her accomplishments throughout her life. I just knew her as my wonderful neighbor growing up on Kipling Dr. John & Jo were the greatest neighbors - so kind and thoughtful. I then enjoyed visiting with Jo as I grew into an adult and then we could share stories between nurses. Oh yes and those amazing apricot cookies! Sending my warm thoughts and prayers to Jay and Tom.

Jo was a special person in my life, since I was a little girl. My sister and I were able to visit her several times at the nursing facility, her memory was still so fresh, and loved to hear about her and our early years at Assumption and later. Will miss this wonderful woman, who am sure is right by John's and God's side
I loved you, Jo,

Jo was such a beautiful lady inside and out. It was a complete privilege and honor to be a part of her care team. I will always cherish the stories she told me about the "adventures" of her life. My thoughts and prayers go out to her loving and devoted family.

Josephine Cotter was a special woman, who understood what God's purpose is for all of us
She embodied motherhood, not just for her two sons, but to all who knew her.
Rest in peace with your sweetheart, John and enjoy your heavenly place, for you were truly an angel

I have many memories over the years of wonderful conversations with Aunt Jo. She told such interesting stories about her time as a nurse, and also told me some many stories about my grandmother. I will miss not talking to her . She always amazed me - how sharp she was until the very end of her life. I visited with her 2 years ago, and I am so glad I had the opportunity to see her.
God Bless her.
