Not sure what to say?

If anyone needs to be remembered it is Josephine Edwards. She spent years remembering us each and every birthday! She belonged to St. Martha's seniors and had a lively personality. She would usually speak at the meetings and we were always very interested in what Josephine had to say! She was a pleasure to sit with at our festivities! Rest in heavenly peace Josephine! God bless! Leona

Betty O'Connell and Josephine 10/25/2014

Betty O'Connell with Josephine!

My condolences to Josephine's family. We at St. Martha's Seniors knew her as Little Miss Sunshine as the President called her to give her report. She remembered all of our birthdays with a card and a promise of prayers for the year to come. We saw her at Mary Walsh's 100th birthday at the Buck Hotel and we sat at the table with her on October 25th. She was remembering birthdays as always in her angelic way. We will sadly miss our Little Miss Sunshine! Leona Joline. Millsboro, DE

To all the Edwards "kids":
Your Mom was a great lady who was kind to all. She befriended my mother a very long time ago when my mom really needed a friend. When Mark, and Ed and I were all in the same crowd, she always was very welcoming to us "hippies".
When she and your Dad first came back to Phila., she showed up at my library (Katharine Drexel) with Mrs. Wertz, who she was helping out by driving her around. She remembered ALL my siblings names which sometimes even I forget!

Josephine was a very warm and friendly person. She was very welcoming to me when I first met her & was engaged to her son, Mark. She was a woman of great Christian faith, and lived it out in her daily life by being loving and considerate of others. I will miss her terribly but know that she is happy in her Heavenly home. We will all be reunited with Josephine one day.
