Not sure what to say?

Hello Joe,

I came across your guest book a few minutes ago and was sad to hear of your loss. While my note is not timely I hope that it finds you in good health and sprits.

It was 35 years ago that I was your replacement at Fort Meade and had the opportunity to meet your
wonderful wife and four children.

My wife Shirley and I have been married for 45 years and I can well identify with your loss and the impact it has had your family.

Sincerely,

Joe, I believe I only met Josie once when you both cam to purchase one of my sharpei pups. I knew from the beginning that you both were terrific people and would give Jassy a really good and loving home. May God be with you and Josie forever. Edie

Joe:
Its hard to believe that a year past by already, however, my memories of Josie are not fading and I always carry her smile and friendliness with me.

Family and friends take comfort from Guest Books and value them as a lasting way to honor loved ones. Today I placed this Guest Book on line permanently in order to allow visitors to continue to add entries on anniversaries, holidays, and other occasions for our beloved Josie. Let her memory never be forgotten.

From her Loving Husband and Friend Joe.

Merry Christmas Josie

Merry Christmas Josie in heaven above.
I know you’re with God, but I miss you my love.
This is my first Christmas without you here,
To celebrate the season, and not have you near.

I know for me it will never be the same,
To hear your precious voice calling my name.
But I know in my heart you would want me to go on
And not go through life wearing a frown.

I know from now on in this life...

Dear Joe,

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Josie's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Josie will really be missed. I have so many fond memories of working with her and becoming friends. My prayers will be with her husband and all her family members. God Bless

Dear Gov.!!

It was good chatting with you today.
My perception, via a telephone conversation, is that you are doing fairly well in adjusting to Josie's passing.
I do not think one ever fully overcomes the loss of a love one, I think we merely make adjustments in life to fill the void. Many feelings and memories are forever,be they good or bad. The marvel of the brain is that it allows us the choice's to key into those parts to remember, experience, or to dismiss...

When I come to the end of the day
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom- filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love we once shared
Miss me
But let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Maker's plan.
A step on the road to home.
When you are...
