Josephine M. Greco (nee Ensalaco), age 98, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 in Arizona.
Josephine is survived by her children: James Greco, Thomas Greco, Marilyn Green, Clara (Jeff) Cleary, Carmella Carioscia and Jo Ellen (Ronald) Ogle; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas; grandchildren: Christopher Brown and Kelli Jean (Cleary) Longacre; and son-in-law: Daniel Green.
Josephine was an avid bingo player.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 Noon with Joe Codespoti officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to: Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or alz.org or sagehospice.org.
I worked with her at Beck's Bakery. She was a great lady and very funny. I would think about her a lot. My condolences to your family.

I was Blessed to call her grandma, through my marriage to her grandson, Joe Greco. There are not enough words to say how wonderful she was. I loved her fun spirit, her no nonsense advice, her sense of humor, and her kindness. She will be missed by so many who love her deeply. Thank you, Grandma for accepting me into your big, beautiful, family. I will cherish my memories of you, especially our time in Italy! Rest-In-Peace, until we meet again.
