Just saw Jo´s obituary. I was her letter carrier from 1995-2005. Always had pleasant conversation with her and Babe. May she rest in paradise

A great friend to my mam Eithne Greenan. They had a lifetime of adventure and memories, upto their final years. Jo in turn took a great interest in our lives, and always gave her full attention to your conversations. A unique person, missed by many.

I just found out of Jo's passing today in the internet. Jo is a very happy, marvelous, generous lady. I met her at City College of San Francisco at her speech clinic. Her death is a great sorrow. My life was blessed through her friendship. May you find blessing in your new life. My condolences to her. Love, Melanie Chin-Cooper

Jo, you will be missed! We so loved our daily chats while walking our dogs to Starbucks. My children adored you and always looked forward to seeing you. Thank you for helping make the neighborhood so wonderful!

When I first came to live with Jo in 1971 and she would ask me what I would like to do/ eat/ where I would like to go, I would answer, 'I don't know, I don't mind, whatever you think'. This would drive her crazy and from her I learned to have opinions, who to make choices and to enjoy those choices. For that and much, much more I will be eternally grateful.
