Jo was a big advocate of those who are blind and visually impaired going above and beyond in her duties at the Cleveland Sight Center Public Relations and Education Director. Jo and I worked together at Cleveland Sight Center. She was incredibly kind to me and helpful in her role as PR and Marketing Director. I worked with Jo at Cleveland Sight Center for many years. She owned a pair of earrings which matched a necklace I had belonging to my mother. We frequently joked about one of us having the whole set, but neither of us would give up our piece. When Jo retired she gifted me her earrings so I wouldn´t have to give up my mother´s jewelry.
