Not sure what to say?

so sorry to hear about Josie.she taught my daughter Stacey karickhoff to play piano for several years. she was a sweet lady and my heart saddens over her death.she will be missed and remembered!

Our condolensces and prayers are with your family. For many years Josie touched the lives of my immediate family through her gift of music. Pat Payer (May) taught my brother, Rudy Flewelling; and Josie taught both of my children; Jonathan (piano) and Jaclyn (guitar). I would also like to express sympathy on behalf of my sister; Sylvia Brown, and nephew, Cecil Brwon; both of whom were former music students of Josie's.

I am so sorry to hear about Josie. I hope you girls remember me. My name was Susan Jackson and I took lessons and taught under her guidance in the 1950's. She was the most awesome woman I have ever met. She prepared me for teaching piano for which I will always be greatful. What she taught me I have tried to extend to my students over the years. Hopefully her legacy of love for music will extend past my students to others. Therefore her legacy will go on forever. My love and sympathy...

I will surely miss my dear Aunt Josie! What a musical legacy she created! I loved it best when she played Autumn Leaves on the piano or when she played polkas on the accordion. And what fun when we would stop by with the family and an impromptu concert complete with some of us dancing would occur! You just can't replicate times like those. We will miss her.
Love you all- Nancy & Mike (down in Charleston)

I am so very sorry to hear about Josie. She was a marvelous woman, and an even better teacher. Having her to teach me music was one of the best experiences of my childhood. She will be missed by many. My prayers are with your family. Love, Sarah Crispell and family.

Pat and Deanna, Sorry about the loss of your Mother. I know how hard it is to say goodbye, Mom is our best friend and we miss them so much. No one ever takes their place. Love Jean Bednarski
