I remember Mrs. LaCascia fondly. She and her adult children hosted our young family in her lovely Wellesley home for scrumptious Feasts of the Seven Fishes. Such a special way to spend Christmas Eve! And, despite chronic health issues, such a gracious lady.

When Mom and I first met on FB, she was so kind and accepting.
Back then Joe (her only son) and I have been dating for almost a year and Joe said I am more than welcome to add his Mom on FB.
She was so sweet and before we ended the conversation she told me- I better start calling her ‘MOM’!
