Josephine Norton

I met Jody at the "White Elephant Sale" at St. James in the early 1980s. I was chairman of the Children´s Dept. where she had assisted for many years. She was so very stoic, but had a twinkle in her eyes under cat eye glasses and a madras dress or two. I met her mother, who lived on Prospect, and knew about their past in the Philippines. Jody was just so lovely, understated, and wise. She epitomized a certain time, and I will never forget her. Barbara Haggerty
