Not sure what to say?

I have many please memories of our time spent while working for the Women's Club, especially during the preparation and printing the Cookbook, for which Jo painted the cover. That book is still cherished and brings to mine our fun together. I was thrilled with the opportunity to visit her studio, and am still in awe of her talents. When visiting one of her exhibits (at Lutheran General Hospital), I fell in love with the CORNFLOWERS and simply had to have it. It has graced my walls for many...

My late husband and I met Mrs. Parenti many years ago at the Art and Crafts Fair held on the grounds of the Felician Convent on Peterson and Pulaski in Chicago. We would be sure to attend every summer and add to our collection of her wonderful florals. My husband has been gone now, 13 years, and her works are gracing my home in Florida. She was a delight, and I am proud to have her art in my home. My sympathy to your family.

DEAR KAREN, SUSAN AND SOL OUR CONDOLENCE
THE BRUGER'S HERB, BOBBI, KAREN, DANA AND STACY

Hello Karen, Susan and Sol, I wish I could have been there for Auntie Jo's funeral but know that I am very sorry.

I will tell you that Auntie Jo, my godmother, was someone I always looked up to. The fact she was an artist was so great because it was so 'bohemian.' She was always so put together with what she was wearing and her make-up. I loved her sarcasm and assertiveness. She was bold. Everything about her I admired. While I didn't have the artistic side like she did I...

An amazing person, artitst, and woman - her life has blessed thought who knew her and will live in the legacies of those who she touched. God speed Josephine!

Susan, I have thought of you so often over the years - it is easy to see now why you were so talented with such a wonderful, artistic role model! Accept my sympathy for your loss.

You are in my thoughts and prayers as I remember your dear, artistic mom. Last time I saw her was at the Glenview art fair many years ago. With love

Friends,
Your mom influenced me early and for a long time with some words of wisdom and encouragement. I am saddened by her passing and my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Please let me share a story.
As I was in first or second grade and was so excited to paint with my "Paint by Numbers"kit that I had received for my birthday. For some reason I brought one of my "masterpieces" to your house and showed it to your folks, the artist and the painter. Your dad...

Although we can't be with you while you remember your loved one, you're in our thoughts from afar.
