Not sure what to say?

Connie, I just read the obits from several weeks ago and saw your mother's obit. I am so sorry for your loss. Having said that, I have such wonderful memories of your Mom ! Such a special lady!!! Condolences to you and Catherine!

So sorry to hear of your loss, Connie. My prayers are with you.,

Caring thoughts to your family for the loss of a wonderful woman. I was a nurse with Dr Jo at Holy Spirit Family Health Ctr/ Healthcare 24. My last visit with her included her concern for the safety of our water supply. A wonderful life well lived!

Dear Connie, I did not know your mother personally, but would always say hello at Mass at St. Theresa´s. Your memories will sustain you during difficult times. Bishop McDevitt class of 1964

Connie and Catherine, Dr. Jo was an amazing woman and definitely ahead of her time. I enjoyed working with her and learning so much about the impact she had on the medical community and her efforts to help others. I truly enjoyed the conversations and was always amazed at how well read on current events she was even in her late 80's.. I am sorry for your loss but I know the many memories will remain in your minds and hearts. Angie Stephenson

Dr Jo was my Dr when I was a child. I have fond memories of her being so kind. So very sorry for your loss.

Dr. Rakow was my mothers doctor, then she was my doctor & then my sons doctor right after he was born. She was wonderful, so sweet & a beautiful lady. I have so many pleasant memories that I will always cherish. Thoughts & prayers for all her family. Rest in Peace.

Personally, I'm rejoicing not that our Beloved Dr. Jo has left us, but that I wholeheartedly believe she has finally rejoined Dr. Alex and my parents (Dr. Raymond and Doris Grandon in what we hope and believe to be Our Collective Heavenly reward for living according to our God's Plan. Connie and Catherine, I will always treasure my visits with her at home (sharing gardening progress, property care, her Undertaking of writing a book about her Mentor (never quite got past the Editor, or just...

My sincere condolences and peace to Connie and the family. Your mother was a great woman and a wonderful friend to my mother.
