Jo .... You were always so much fun when you and daddy would visit us in Maryland. You would bring us donuts from Judickie´s with sprinkles of course. And .. you always brought your Richard Simons tape with you. You were so kind and thoughtful and you loved my dad so much. Jack and I will miss our breakfasts with you at the diner. We know how much you couldn´t wait to be with your children and it gives us comfort to know you are with them at last.

I am so sorry to know my dear friend Josephine passed away! She was such a beautiful woman dressed so beautiful a smile to make you feel that you were loved by her! My deceased Sister (Cookie) Ann meet her at the Lighthouse Restaurant everyday to have breakfast I would meet with them also! She was so upset to hear my sister passed away! I am so upset She passed away! Josephine R.I.P and say Hello to my sister!

We met Josephine coming out of the Lighthouse Restaurant, where her daughter Marylin worked. She would always talk to us whenever we saw her. She was kind, loving and so very nice. We even saw her at Bingo at St Mary´s. She was a great lady. We will miss her.

To the family of Josephine: I knew her a long time, she always said hello to me. Always had a smile on her face, and always dressed beautiful. I used to see her in the Lighthouse. My Deepest Sympathy, May she rest in peace.

I will always remember Mrs Carroll ( I always called her Mrs Carroll). She was such a kind loving person. I can remember all the times I spent at her house hanging out with her children. We all grew up together, God rest your soul!

It is a rare memoir that can tell such a complete story like that of the life of my Aunt Jo. 96 years! Wonderfully unique, classy, stylish, a one of a kind women, who stood out in a crowd and accomplished so many extraordinary things over her life span.
