Not sure what to say?

Jo was very knowledgeable and eager to share her vast historical information with others. She was very helpful to us in the Rensselaer City Historical Society we enjoyed swapping information, often demonstrating that history doesn't follow municipal boundaries. We will miss her and send our condolences to her family

Schweigert Family - My sympathy for your loss. Josephine was always a delight and will be missed.

I'm so sad to hear. I am, however, pleased to see that my foremost memory of her as the maven of cross-stitch is in her obituary. She made us do cross-stitch it the right way. I hated it at the time and am so grateful she did now! For me her legacy is her devotion to craft and handwork. Barb

To the Schweigert Family,
My first memory of meeting Mrs. Schweigert, was Girl Scouts. She was always a very sweet woman, who cared about her family and community, she volunteered many hours for both, from when her children were young to when they were long grown. My condolences on Mrs. Schweigert's passing, it was always a pleasure to run into her somewhere while we were both running about. My prayers to the family on the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful woman.
