Josephine M. Scrivenor

I write in memory of Grammy Jo, the only grandmother I ever knew as she married my grandfather, Arthur Scrivenor, when I was four years old. Her visits out to us in Ohio, Arizona and California were always memorable. Her lovely Virginia accent delighted my little girl ears as well as her positive words of encouragement. Jo Scrivenor was truly one of the brightest, continuously learning, enjoyable people I knew in earlier days in Roanoke. Her dedication to special family members, her church and to learning and sharing in discussions were a highlight of times spent with her.
