Not sure what to say?

Martha Jo, I was devastated to learn of your recent passing. As your Class Dean it seems just months ago we enjoyed regular walks around Occum Pond at Dartmouth College during your sophomore and junior years, giggling at how lucky we midwesterners — both Wichitans — were to discovered each another in cold, snowy New Hampshire! And then you were gone. Little did I suspect at the time that my leaving for the Dean of Student's position at Bowdoin and you went to slay dragons on Wall Street the...

Much love to the Siegfried family! Jo inspired so many and loved so many people. Lot of love and prays to the family.

Rest In Peace Joe and thank you for your friendship as children back in Eastborough!

I served with Jo in student council at Kapaun Mount Carmel high school our senior year. She was a joy to work with and an inspiration for all of us.

I remember Jo fondly as a High School friend. She was kind to everyone and smart as a whip. I didn´t realize her connection to Notre Dame - my girls both attendded with my youngest graduating in May. Your family is in my prayers as you deal with this great loss.

For many years, we had the privilege of sharing time with this beautiful family, especially with Mrs. Siegfried. To us, she was much more than a guest in this tropical paradise-she was part of our family, and that´s exactly how she made us feel with her warmth and kindness. We pray that God grants her eternal rest in His presence. To her husband and children, please know that you will always have a family in Punta Cana who loves you, remembers you fondly, and holds you in high regard.

In the short time I knew Jo I felt blessed to know such a wonderful human. Our daughters became roommates and we got to meet her during move-in day. We would text fun stories about our girls the last two years and share our gratefulness to God for placing them almost as an answer to our prayers. She is a treasure to this world and will dearly be missed.

I first met Jo on a 4th of July weekend at Grand Lake shortly after I had returned to Oklahoma in the late 90´s. My father introduced her to me as an impressively bright and dynamic young woman to know - and he was so right! She was truly one-of-a-kind, so clever, caring, and always thoughtful in everything she did. I valued her insight and advice as we raised our children. I enjoyed her genuine smile and heartfelt hugs as we paused for a chat on walks. Her considerate gestures and notes...

That´s such a heartfelt tribute to Jo. She was an extraordinary lady - wise, compassionate, and deeply invested in the lives of those around her. Losing someone like Jo leaves a void that´s hard to fill. But the warmth and kindness she shared lives on in the memories of those she touched. I know that, in remembering her, we can find comfort in the legacy she left behind- the guidance she offered, the encouragement she provided, the way she made people feel valued. She will be greatly missed.
