I became acquainted with Mrs Simone as
a neighbor in the late 1960s and early
1970s. She returned to the neighborhood to have a garage sale in
the early fall of 1995 when I saw her
daughter Minnie for the first time in
20 years and also was able to acquire a copy of a book she had for sale,
MY CATHOLIC FAITH by Bishop Morrow which included a letter he wrote in
1963 to the late Bishop Thomas K Gorman.
