Our Aunt Jo

We three young sisters got up early for the long, long drive,
Waiting at the airport with Dad, for our Aunt Jo to arrive.
Standing waiting patiently…..and then Aunt Jo appeared,
Pulling her small suitcase as the family all cheered!

Her days with us were fun, visiting London and choosing her thimbles,
Buying tartan for her nephew and nieces she’d announce, ‘it’s the Smith tartan this symbols!’
Going on buses, visits to Harrods and Trafalgar...
