Not sure what to say?

Nana you will always be remembered for that lovely voice of yours even when im not around to hear you sing i could hear from a mile a way.I love you very much and even though i was not there to see you these past two years i always had you with me in my heart i worried about you day in and day out because i knew you were not doing so well, but i know your a strong person i was praying you would pull through. But heaven needed you more than we did and i know now that you dont have to suffer.i...

I had the pleasure of being one of Mrs. Smith's band students in the second class to graduate from St. John the Baptist. Even though many years have passed, I will always be grateful to her for bringing out the music in me. My sincerest condolences to her family. Please know that she will be kindly remembered.

Peace be with you, thank you.

Mrs. Smith was my music teacher in High School ( St. John the Baptist, late 1960's ) and I have never forgotten her kindness and encouragement, even though decades have passed. My condolences to her family, and I hope they find comfort in knowing that she was an inspiring presence in so many lives.

My late mother, Margaret Dinzler wrote this poem and knowing Josephine and her family, I am sure she would have liked me to share her thoughts in this poem.

In the billowy mists of heaven,
God has kept a special place,
where tired souls that leave this world
can share a peaceful place
with those who went before them,
to the arms of Him who waits
with his court of caring angels
beyond celestial gates.

So weep because you miss her,

Mom,you have always been the center of our lives. You
orchestrated
a symphony and gave each of a part. You
conducted our life performances relentlessly and never gave up. You will always be the song in our hearts.
You are the music in our lives.

Mrs. Smith with Mike DeVincenzo (right) and me in 2001.

Mrs. Smith was the faculty advisor for our band The St. John the Baptist Tijuana Brass from 1968 through 1970. She was a good-natured woman who helped us a lot, and always put her heart and soul into everything she did with us and for us. I last saw her at our 30th class reunion in 2001. My deepest condolences to the family.
