Josephine Chardy "Jo Jo" Strachn-Hunt

We shared many beautiful memories together with our families when we lived in New Jersey. I will never forget her cheerfulness and happy smile.

We shared or lives during those halcyon days at Stanford University graduate school. She and Wayne - Gwen and I and others of the hard working Ph.D. Candidates and families. Many times the Hunts would come strolling by in Escondido Village in the mid-1970's. It was community and we enjoyed sharing our lives and dreams. Now Jo-Jo has gone to the clearing at the end at the end of the trail were we all will some day gather to sing praise to God for the lives he has allowed us to have. Jo-Jo...

Berkeley and I were saddened to hear of Jo-Jo's passing. We remember playing cards and having dinner on the weekends with Jo-Jo and Wayne in New Jersey BC (before children). I am thankful today for Jo-Jo showing me Yoga and the Sun Salutations back in the 80s which I do each morning. Our girls grew up together in New Jersey and we have great memories of going to the park, play dates, and going to church together as families from Long Valley. We trust she is in a better place now.
