Josephine Tatum Obituary

JOSEPHINE TATUM Josephine Tatum, 76, a domestic care business owner, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. She was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Purvis, Miss., and was a 50-year resident of Nevada. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters; and one granddaughter. Josephine is survived by her son, Don Tatum; daughter, Rita Sims; son, Charlie Watts; daughters, Audrey F. Johnson, Gina Jones, and Bertina Tatum; three brothers; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow at Palm Memorial Park - Downtown.

I wish I could have seen you one last time, I thank you for being the grandmother that I never had....I will always remember you for being strong and opinionated just like me....and the day you saved me when I passed out and had no one to call, and not knowing how to make cornbread from scratch, and going to church too...love you always..and will see you some day on the other side...
