It was by God's design that Vick and I would meet Mr. Joe and Joyce. We were not only co-laborers in the Gideon ministry, but we became great friends.
We cherish the friendship and the memories. Faithful to the end would describe Mr. Joe's life. What a blessing both Joyce and Mr. Joe were to us. Mr. Joe was an awesome and a great Christian, as w ell as an educator who touched scores of lives.He truly loved peole!

Deacon Josephus will forever remain a constant name at Beulah Baptist Church. A true Hero of the Faith and the Gospel of Christ.

I remember Mr. Joe from school. Some years back he came to the church I go to at Boardman (off Hwy 74 in Columbus Co.) to talk about the Gideon Bible. It was nice to see him after so many years. He was a really good person. I grew up at Deep Branch.
