A Man and Sister Grow Up
Last Sunday night, Josh Rosenthal went out for dinner with his sister, Helen, and her family to celebrate the coming of fall and the fact that they were all together again after being apart over the summer. "He had just picked up 'Catcher in the Rye' again,' " she said. "And he was just adorable about the relationship between Holden and his sister."

A portfolio manager at Fiduciary Trust, Mr. Rosenthal most liked "to play with his nieces, but of course I would say that," Ms. Rosenthal said. "He would tease them mercilessly, just like he would tease me when I was a little girl." He would also bring them gifts from his many travels, like a stamp with their names in Japanese or beautiful Chinese robes. Ms. Rosenthal, who described her only sibling as her best friend, said that the two had been especially close since a two-month trip they took together through southeast Asia about 15 years ago, where they discovered each other as adults. "He wasn't teasing me anymore," she said.

Not sure what to say?

I worked in the same dept as Josh at JP Morgan in late 80s -he was VP I was a senior assistant - Mergers&Acquisitions dept - I remembered Josh he once bummed a stale cigarette I always had a couple in my desk - didn´t realize he was born same year as me - he was cute and funny I immediately remembered him back during that tragic time God rest his and all the innocent souls lost - we will never ever forget

Josh, I miss you, just thinking about us. Working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Finance-I was just a young kid that you took the time to teach and help. Us working together on projects and we would just have a good time laughing it up, everyone that passed by your office would look in and would wonder why these two were having fun, you're not supposed to have fun in finance. Miss You Rest in Peace Leon Lee

I come here from time to time. To reflect on the events of 20 years ago and even earlier in the 1970s When Josh and I met for a summer. That summer lasted 4 weeks, 8 weeks not sure. Then it was over. I miss you Josh!

I don't know why Josh was suddenly brought to mind. I think he was two years behind me in High School at Livonia Stevenson. Yep-on the debate/Forensic team (I think I have a photo of him with long, curly hair in his family's kitchen)? Any who- we were a team who won lotsa trophies under Coach Kroll (May he RIP too) with Alan Helmcamp, Diane Easdon, and lots more I can't remember at the moment. I'm so sorry he went to Heaven so soon. Wow.

I remember Josh from Livonia Stevenson High. I looked up to him then as he encouraged and helped me develop debate skills.

With deeply held love and warmth, your spirit lives on.

For the 10th anniversary, my school gave out bracelets with names of those who died written on them. Throughout the day we were to pray for these people's souls and remember the sacrifice they gave 10 years ago. I got Mr. Rosenthal's name. Although I never knew him, but I know he is loved and remembered by his family and friends and by the whole country for his life and sacrifice. Rest in peace Mr. Rosenthal.

I met Josh in the 3rd Grade at Tyler Elementary School, in Mrs. Victor's class. He was 'cool' kid then, I remember he was a faster runner then most in our school at the annual field day. I still carry the Detroit News article about his passing in my breif case; still remembering and sorry about his passing.
