Not sure what to say?

Our son Russ knew how to pick-em.......Josh was his first and best friend at school in Flushing

Dear Gary and Carol,
We send our deepest sympathy to you and all the family for the loss of such a fine young son. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Joshua at this difficult time. Your friends,
Marilyn and Jay Nelson

Carol and Gary, so sorry for the loss of your son. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Dear Carol and Gary,
Clifford and I were saddened to learn of Joshua's passing. Joshua had the courage to face his cancer treatments while he gave us comfort and thoughtful poetry.
He will live on through his children Noah and Eliza. He touched many lives through his teaching and psychotherapy. His memory will live with your family and his community. May God bless you and keep you safe.

Pam and I extend to you both our heart-felt sorrow on your loss. I never met your son, but knowing both of you, I can say he came from good stock. So very, very sorry for the pain you and your family must endure.

Joshua,,,,We Love You,,,,Rest In Peace,,,,

TO OUR DEAR HURAND FAMILY -

We cannot begin to imagine the pain of your loss and are frustrated that there is nothing that any of us can do except to reach out to you so that you know that there is love and caring and prayers flowing to you.

Josh was always special to us as one of "our Flint kids." We can still see him wearing his perpetual helmet as a child but the lasting memory is the smile that he took from childhood into manhood. It was infectious as was his...

We first met when he was a student at the University of Arizona and lived in my house, where he loved to cook.
When I returned to Tucson many years later, I saw him and Ashley at the synagogue and I was lucky enough to be a small part of their life and hold a seat for him at the Poetry Center where we attended readings. Josh was everything a mensch should be and more.
