Joshua Mattero passed away in San Diego, California. The obituary was featured in San Diego Union-Tribune on August 11, 2007, and Legacy on March 3, 2011.
On May 23rd, 2019, employees of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency wore remembrance lanyards for our fallen service-members since 9-11. I had the honor of wearing SSG Mattero's name for the day. I am grateful for his sacrifice and pray for all of his loved ones who are missing him in their lives.
