Not sure what to say?

Josh was one of my best friends in high school. I deeply regret missing his passing. He helped shape the man I am today. Even as kids I knew he was destined for greatness. I can't believe he's gone.

Dear Janet/Josh's mom,
Something "propelled me" this morning to see if you had an active Legacy Guest Book for your son, Josh (maybe it was because I spent most of yesterday writing in Legacy Guest Books as I contacted newly bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings on behalf of myself and of our The Compassionate Friends Modesto/Riverbank Area Chapter).
I was so very glad to find that you do have an active Legacy Guest Book for Josh and I have just concluded reading...

I worked with Josh for only one year but he was one of the funniest, most talented, amazing people I've ever known. I am greatly saddened to hear the news.

Deepest regards to Josh's family. I knew Josh from high school and remember him to be a smiling kind friend to talk with. He was strong willed and confident and full of life. I know he will be missed.

I'm sorry if I missed any gatherings. I just found out Josh was gone in March, thanks to Michael. My deepest sympathy to all.

I extend my condolences to all those affected by Josh's passing. I admired him in high school for refusing to cow to the school administrators' ban on hats. Josh consistently livened-up our classes with his humor and laughter. He will always be remembered.

My deepest condolences to the Neal family and to Susie. I was shocked to read of his passing while in Modesto for the holidays. I knew Josh in high school and shared many classes with him. I will never forget his laugh, his smile, his political wit, and his sense of humor that always made our classes more interesting.

My thoughts are with Susie and with Josh's family. Sometimes there are no words for the way things happen.

I knew Josh through Susie's words, so I knew him as amazing and wonderful and remarkable and kind. As I am sure he was.

I always looked forward to seeing Josh at our annual reunion. He always greeted me with a big handshake and a big smile. I will miss him.
