Stillwater, NY - Joshua Allen Paquette, 22, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015.

Born on October 26, 1992 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of Carl Paquette and Lori Croft and a 2011 graduate of Stillwater High School. Joshua was a beautiful soul who's journey in life ended too soon. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, star-gazing, fires and was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills. Most of all he loved being a free spirit.

Joshua is survived by his parents Carl Paquette (Nicole Girard) and Lori Croft (George Simmons); his sister Cassandra Perkins (James) and his two brothers James Purdy Jr. and Dylan Brooks. He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents, Mr.& Mrs. Leon Paquette, his maternal grandmother, Shirley Gardner, his beloved girlfriend, Kaitlyn DiPalermo and several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends may call from 10am to 1pm Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373).

A Celebration of Life will be at 1pm at the funeral home and burial will be in St. Peter?s Cemetery, West Ave.

Not sure what to say?

Each September when classes begin at the F. Donald Myers Education Center I am reminded of Josh’s presence in the HVAC program.
Hard to believe 5 years has already passed, yet Josh has not been forgotten.

Blessed to have spent time with This young man.

Still think of you often and miss you, forever your Joey.

Rest in peace sweet boy

I am a Saratoga Taxi driver who picked Josh up out by saratoga lake off rt70 just before he passed...He was a good man who knew both of my adult children struggling with addiction...Josh never had a bad word to say about anyone...He Will be missed...

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Joshua. I've only had a few encounters with Joshua, but they were enough to make an impact. In the brief time I spent with him, I could immediately see that he was an innocent beautiful soul who wanted nothing more than to be the best person he could be, for himself and for the people in his life. He loved the people in his life and wanted to make them proud. There is no doubt in my mind that he is now one of the brightest angels watching over...

God bless this young man, Josh was a former CTE student of mine, I spent many days with Josh, he had a great sense of humor and had a wonderful smile. I was informed of his passing by another former student just yesterday and find myself deeply saddened by this terrible news.
I pray for his family and hope they can find a vision of peace with his memory one day soon.
