Not sure what to say?

I didn't know PFC Ramesy but decided to wear a remembrance bracelt honoring a man who gave the ultimate sacrifice from my area. As a veteran myself I am sorry for your lost, but he will not be forgotten.

To the family and friends of Pfc. Joshua A. Ramsey:

On this day and with each day that we enjoy our freedom, I would like to give thanks and let you know that I do not take our troops for granted. May you experience God when you feel your loss.

It seems that Joshua got some lasting memories before his life ended. A new car, a visit with his grandmother and moms home made chicken livers. When a persons life comes to an end all we have is the memories, we all should look at this and work on building our own set of lasting memories daily. Nobody knows when there last day on this earth is going to be. Life is a wonderful gift and that gift you gave to America. I want to thank you Joshua and your family for my gift of Freedom.

”Honor and Remember” - “Project Compassion” We love our Soldiers! We love our country and we cannot express enough love and compassion to the families of our fallen heroes. War does not discriminate – It breaks our hearts to see the faces of the fallen. We want to give this gift to you. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization! Over 1,660 portraits have been completed and shipped to the parents and or spouse - at no cost as this is a gift from one American to another!

In loving memory of my nephew, Josh Ramsey,
on Memorial Day 2009. I will never forget the words of Mariah Carey's song played at your funeral "...for a hero lies in you."

Thank you, Josh and all the service men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice. All of you are heroes.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you...
