Not sure what to say?

SSG Gire, then SGT Gire, patrolled with RCP 13 in 2009 in the Tangi Valley in March 2009. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting you, Josh. I really would have liked to have met you. Just to let you know your picture will remain forever in my head. Hopefully, I can meet you one day in Heaven. Thank you for your sacrifice. Your life should have remained going on, because of all the kind words that family and friends have said about you. They do say, that the good die young! Many prayers for his wife, children and family. You are a lucky woman to have met him. Rest in Peace.

In memory, honor and respect for SSG Joshua Gire. We will always be indebted to him for his sacrifice and service.

When I drove past your memorial flags and sign I had to stop in the middle of the road and read it. I know how sad I felt so I know how hard March 22 is for you two. It was a great memorial in his honor. Thank You for that. And may you find peace in knowing what a hero he is to all of us.
