Josh was an amazing young man. Kind, generous, curious. I'm grateful for the time I was able to spend with him and have fond memories.

The morning after your sons accident, my granddaughter, who had Josh as her anatomy partner at Whitmer, came outside to tell me of this sad news. She was heartbroken and I cannot imagine how your family feels. Please know that Josh seems to have touched many lives and was one of the good kids. I've sat down to try to write something multiple times, but could not find the words. There really are no words that can express how sorry we are for your loss of Joshua. We are truly devastated, just as you are, as well as all who were blessed to have known him. I have so many memories from changing his diapers, to watching the kids swim at your house, the numerous parties, and..... always getting a goodbye hug. I will always cherish these memories of Joshua, as well as our friendship!...

Dear Family of Josh....I was so saddened to hear about the loss of Josh. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends at this very difficult time. I had Josh at Washington Jr. High and remember him with fondness. He was a favorite student who was kind, friendly, responsible, and very popular with his peers. The world will miss his positivity and his contributions. He was a great young man who always made you proud.
