Tom Clemo As a teenager in the 80's,playing pool at the East Side AC. I always enjoyed visiting and talking with Joe. He will be missed.

So sorry about your brother. I have fond memories of the east side and meadow lake.

My very sincere condolences on Joe's passing. He was one of the first people who I met and who welcomed me when I came to Butte in 1970. He and his were part of that East Side community and Butte old-timers who embraced this new immigrant with open arms and an open heart. Theirs, and especially Joe's (and his family's) kindness will never be forgotten. And I remember fondly out later contacts throughout the years.May he rest in peace. With great fondness!

Condolences to all family and friends. I worked with Josiah and was a great man.

Sorry to see this.. I am one of the east siders that grew up with Joe.. Went to Grant School, I was 2 yrs behind him.... Our families were friends. I also was one of the girls at the dances later that danced with Joe.. Great times and memories. Joe could "jitter bug" & slow dance like no-one else.. East Side was a one big family. Sending hugs .. Carole (Grant) Riley
