One of the most interesting afternoons I ever spent was listening to Josiane talk about her childhood growing up in Morocco. I was very interested in this era of French history and she brought the experience of the "pied noir" to life for me, including the very dangerous times preceding Morocco's independence. She had a great sense of detail and compassion for everyone involved--French and Moroccans.

Josiane I was stuck by your beauty the moment I saw you having just left the pool for a swim. We had recently purchased the lot next to your home in Florida and were looking at the lot wondering what to put on it. We have been friends for 20 years and will continue to be forever. I realized shortly after we moved in that you were as beautiful inside as you were for all to see. I miss you so much. Love, Etta
