To the Kendrich's family, My deepest sympathy are with you and your family.I met this wonderful woman of God thru passing in the halls at St. Thomas one morning, and we were drawn to each other thru faith and the love of God, with whom we shared often. Such a spirit full person from inside to the outside, always smiling and always having a kind word. Peace and comfort to the family.

I met Ms. Josie over 25 years ago through my aunt, Marie Sims Carliss here in Nashville, Tenn and she was always a wonderful, positive and lovely lady with a beautiful spirit, smile and laughter. To the family and friends, she was a wonderful lady that will be missed tremendously, but know she is always with us--watching and smiling always. Dr. Marlo Kemp, Madison, TN.

I met Josie through the American Cancer Society's Reach to Recovery program, where we were both volunteers. She was a wonderful volunteer and a wonderful person, and a dear friend to me. She never complained, always did her part, and had so many friends. I will miss Josie -- Ann Harwell Wells, 3737 West End Avenue #302, Nashville, TN 37205

To the family, for the family, and all of us who loved Josie, God knows our sorrow, so he gives us tears to cry. He knows there will be trials when His children ask Him "why?" But He's our Heavenly Father, and He'll take us by the hand, to lead us through the sorrows that we cannot understand. God has all the time we need, He feels the pain we feel. And He, above all others knows a heart takes time to heal.
