Journey Lynn Learned

Journey Lynn Learned, 2 years old left this life on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at St. Francis Children’s Hospital, Tulsa, OK. She was born on July 2, 2014 in Tulsa, OK to Joe and Kelsie Jo (Pleasant) Learned.   She had a frilly, girlie, pink, sassy personality. She loved to spin around, dance, swim, run as fast as she could barefoot outside only in her panties, and sing “Jesus Loves Me’. She loved her cat, Sunni and taking her brother, Jude’s teddy bear (not her own) and playing with it.

She is survived by her parents, Joe and Kelsie Learned of the home; brother, Jude Learned (3 years old); grandparents, Steve and Soma Learned, Joe Pleasant and Ida Keim; great-grandparents, Patsy Sowersby and Joan Fox; aunt, Sammi Learned; uncle, Cody Pleasant; and cousins, Kiana and Kamiera Tiger.

The Family is asking in honor of Journey to wear something pink for the service.

Family will be collecting New toys during viewing and funeral service in memoriam of Journey and will deliver as a blessing to other children at St. Francis Children’s Hospital, there will be a pink tub at Smith Funeral Home to drop your New toys off for collection.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
