Not sure what to say?

Dear Maggie,
I was so saddened by the news when I saw you today. Mr Trbojevic was our favourite guest at Sofitel. He never let us feel that he was this successful restaurateur who had a successful life. He only cared about having a good time and giving a good time!
I always loved listening to his stories and his anecdotes....His sense of humour and his "joie de vivre" was incomparable.
I particularly loved when he talked about Beirut, the hotel St Georges and his fond memories...

Dear Maggie,
Our condolences to you on the recent loss of you husband. I had an extraordinary opportunity to have met Jovan; I enjoyed sharing many, many stories with him about the culinary world. He was one of those who brought a change in the culinary life in this magnificent City of Chicago. I will miss going with him on lunches, listening to his
ideas and jokes. He was the kindest man on the Earth and will long be remembered in our hearts.
Nesha and Simka Miljkovic...

My dear friend, Maggie, my heart feels your loss, as I lose a good friend, too. The memories of all of our talks, laughs, and enjoyment of fine food, and our times with Tony will be cherished forever. I loved to hear Jovan's tales, and his appreciation of the police department and our war stories. Jovan cherished you as his wife, as Tony had confided to me many times. Take care of yourself, and may we see each other soon. I am always a phone call away. Love, Chris

Dear, dear Maggie, our hearts are heavy with you for the loss of your Jovan. We go all the way back with him (and you)...how gracious, how delicious, how important were his talents at his food "ateliers". We remember all the goodness he brought to our lives and tummies. Be well and take care of yourself in the days ahead. Sincerely, Barbara & Vance Webb

To Jovan's family I extend my deepest sympathy. Jovan's professional excellence and his cordial disposition will long be remembered.

Sincerely,
Margaret Carroll,
Chicago Tribune (retired)

I join in in expressing condolences to Mrs. Trbojevic as a member of a wide Trbojevic family. ( My mother was Mira Trbojevic and her father Mane Trbojevic).

I very much regret for not having met Jovan personally. My profession as an experimental physicist at Fermilab kept me too busy.

I have expressed my sincerest condolences to Meggie personally for the passing of my Brother (Brat) Jovane. We had hoped to spend many more years together - but the call came too soon. It is now left to me as the last of this branch of the Trbojevic family to carry on.
With greatest sorrow,Bill Terbo (Trbojevich)
