Not sure what to say?

Carol and Family, I got to meet and know your beautiful Jovita through her downstairs tenant and good friend, Bonnie Dezzutto. She must have been in her late 80's at the time, but, boy, did she have style and grace - always looked as if she'd just stepped out of a bandbox. I visited with her a couple of times in her home and found that we shared similar values and ideas. I just wish that I had been able to learn more about this amazing woman directly from her. She obviously was one of a...

We are Lisa Olauson's parents. We spent many, many visiting days at Lisa's downstairs apartment, and consequently had many very nice conversations with Jo. She was a very pleasant lady who continued to inspire us to be very active and informed well into our older years. We enjoyed her presence. We know that family and friends will truly feel her absence as a hole in their lives.

We do have one memory story. We came to visit one time, when our granddaughter Jaden was only 2...

I am in Park City and just viewed this email. My deepest love is with you and yours at this time. I will eat chocolate and potato chips today. I will drink tonic (: not as much fun, but the thought is there. Your mother was wonderful, beautiful, and glorious. Her sense of style definitely remained all her life. What a beautiful life. I love you and I will see you when I get home. xo Love your friend, Genie

Jovita circa 1938

As a 6 or 7 year old, I have to confess I was intimidated by this lady. Such grace and sophistication. Such perfection and presence. But visiting her a couple times as an aging adult, we had such wonderful memories to share. She never lost her sense of grace and presentation. I truly will miss her lovely smile and laughter. I will toast her with our favorites--See's nougets (dark chocolate, of course!).

She was a very special lady to her Montana family as was Dudley with all of his fantastic movies and photos. We had wonderful times on the ranch, her playing piano and eating Gram's cottage cheese, not at the same time, of course! She was the epitome of charm and grace and elegance. Bon voyage, lovely lady.
