My thoughts are prayers are with Joe and the kids (and extended family)! Joy was a wonderful and talented woman. I am glad I was able to know her professionally during my years in Alamance County! May you all find peace and comfort in the days to come.

My memories of Joy, are that she was always positive , sweet, and friendly. She will be missed by so many because of the impact that she had on her friends, family, and her community. My wife is a two year Breast Cancer survivor, so our entire family has you in our thoughts and prayers and may God give you the comfort and peace to accept the loss of a sister, daughter and mother. There is no pain or suffering in Heaven.

My sincere condolences on Joy's passing..I had the pleasure of knowing Joy in High School, we graduated together in 1982. May the Lord bless and comfort you all at this time..
