Not sure what to say?

Terry and Johnny, I had no idea that your mom passed away until my father's death in March. I loved your mother having grown up with her for so many years. She was just such a sweet person to be around. She was truly my second mother when I was a kid and teenager. My blessings and prayers are with you and your family.

I will forever remember Ms. Joy. I met Ms. Joy over the phone some twenty years ago while ordering flowers for my job. She became my personal florist, the florist for our church and most of all she was a friend. When my mom passed a couple of years ago and our church called to order flowers, she sent flowers from Swoffords as well. Oh what a grand lady!

She always took great care to make sure that the arrangements were professionally done. She was very dedicated and committed and I...

My parents, George and Marie Cook, were so fond of both Mr. and Mrs. Bales. My dad had worked with him at some time and they remained friends. Now they're all gone. They're celebrating their friendship in Heaven.

TERRY, CINDY, AND FAMILY,
Sorry to read of your Mother's passing. I know it's hard even when we know they are better off. Our hearts still hurt but we are glad for their comfort and peace. May God be with you daily. Cindy, I miss seeing you and Jaime alot and wish we could get together more often.. I'm praying for your family during the days and months ahead. Love, Becky Smith(twins club)Grapevine,Texas

Swofford's Florist and Joy hold many old memories for the Bowers family. Mr. and Mrs. Swofford, Dorothy Sue and Weldon Farris, and then Joy shared glad times and sad ones with our family. I hope that the shop will be able to continue and honor the memories of those folks who meant so much to the families of the North Side. Joy's smile and willingness to help will certainly be missed.

I'm so sorry I didn't know about Joy's passing until today. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. She made this world brighter with her wonderful smile, gracious demeanor and generous nature. All the flowers in heaven are blooming.

MEMAW-
YOU ARE GOING TO BE MISSED SOO MUCH, YOU HAVE SOO MANY PEOPLE WHO LOVE AND CARE FOR YOU. I SAW YOU THE MORNING YOU PASSED AWAY AND YOU STILL HAD THAT SMILE. I AM SURE GOING TO MISS THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE OF YOURS. ALL WE HAVE IS MEMORIES NOW BUT THEY ARE PRECIOUS ONES. I THOUGHT OF YOU AS MY OWN GRANDMA YOU WERE ALL I HAD AND I LOVED YOU SOO MUCH MORE THAN YOU OR ANYONE WILL EVER KNOW. YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED..

Always happy and smiling, whether in the midst of handling multiple activities and stressful situations or enjoying the company of her ABWA sisters - JOY will always be comforting hugs and words for me where ever I go.

A lady that will be missed for a long time. She would do anything for anybody thoughts and prayers or with all of you. Hope she can find John something to wear.
