She was my good friend. So much fun. We both lived in NYC and then got places in Florida. We went everywhere together. She loved the arts, nature, a handsome man, a nice glass of "champers" ... and life itself. Love and miss you dear Joy. RIP

A group of friends and myself were talking and Dr Joy's name came up. I knew she had passed but still miss her show that I listened to everyday. So calming and sage advice. She made a difference.

I listened to Dr. Joy for years but haven’t in several years. Today (Nov 2023), I learned she passed away over 7 years ago. I’m very saddened to learn this. A very wise woman, down to earth and logical. My sincere condolences to those who loved her.

Today, just found out Dr Joy passed away, over four years ago. Listened to her for years on one radio station that announced Dr Joy´s segment was discontinued and replaced with Dr Laura. This is unreal and I hope that her wonderful advice and voice is somewhere in the internet. She had the gift of making people take smart decisions. A big loss, but if I can find some of her shows, her wisdom will live.
